The National Gallery of Australia has been given a set of Appassionato: 100 woodcuts by the Italian born Australian printmaker and painter Salvatore Zofrea. The prints are an autobiographical narrative of the artist’s life and complement The Journeyman: A story of a migrant life (1989). The works were generously given by Peter Fay.
