Biography

Shelley Cowper is a Fine Art (hons) graduate of Grays School of Art, Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland. She has been based in Perth Western Australia since 2003 where she is employed as a Lecturer in Visual Arts at North Metro TAFE and is an active member of the WA Printmakers Association. Her work often draws on her personal experiences of sailing journeys in remote areas of Australia to interweave themes of site, place and emotional situations.
