All processes have their own histories and this souvenir book celebrates the evolution of printmaking in Australia. The book is arranged in approximate chronological order, beginning with the works produced before European settlement, and ending with prints executed in 1984. Only one print per artist is illustrated, and although this may play down the importance of some artists, it allows the great diversity of printmaking in Australia to be displayed.
